The original M50 was such a good camera (overall - no world record in a single category) in its price segment that - maybe - Canon decided to keep interest alive by badging it mark ii. Lagging of some advanced features lets me hope for Mxyz with IBIS, EVF and full sensor 4k - and a f/2 15mm + f/2 60mm or similar (and maybe a f/4 9mm :)
The Canon M50 has got outside measurements of 116mm x 88mm x 59mm (4.6" x 3.5" x 2.3") with a weight of 390 grams (0.86 lbs) and the Sony RX10 has specifications of 129mm x 88mm x 102mm (5.1" x 3.5" x 4.0") and a weight of 813 grams (1.79 lbs). The Canon EOS M5 offers you 9 frames per second, which – for a camera of its level – is a pretty impressive burst mode speed. Same as the Canon EOS M5. However, at 10 frames per second, the burst mode of the Canon EOS M50 is very slightly better. Good Maximum Resolution. Despite the highly frustrating nature of the points noted above (which Canon deliberately incorporates into the firmware), I really like the M50, and am currently thinking about buying a second one for the launch of my YouTube video channel in a couple of months. Good luck, and have fun! The first lens on our list is the Canon EF-M 15-45mm F/3.5-6.3 IS STM, a kit lens that comes with the M50 Mark II. While you can purchase the camera body alone, the 15-45mm lens is well worth the slightly higher price tag. The camera and lens together cost $699, just $100 more than the body only. That’s good value considering the lens alone Video Canon sees the M50 as a good option for vloggers. Its vari-angle LCD, mic input, and Dual Pixel AF system are all big plusses for video. But video quality itself is underwhelming. We already mentioned a couple of advantages that this camera has, however, we also mentioned somethings that the Canon M50 is better at, for example, 4K video capturing, since the Sony A6000 doesn’t have that. The Sony A6000 comes in a super compact shape, and as it is a Mirrorless camera, it has half the size and weight of a typical DSLR A reflex lens is similar to a telescope lens because it uses mirrors to collect light and focus it. Currently the best choice is the EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens from Canon.. This is a workable focal range for many outdoor sports, but it comes up a little short for birding.
The Canon M50 camera delivers what may be considered a normal average battery life. It allows you to take about 200 shots and when it comes to video recordings it allows you to shoot up to 120 minutes..
The Canon M50 has no IBIS! Get the Panasonic G85 (or even better, a G9) if you want IBIS, far better than any Canon, also far better than any Sony. As for autofocus, the Canon M50 doesn't have DPAF in 4K!! Really doesn't matter how you're looking at it, the Panasonic G7, and even Panasonic in general, is going to be a better choice than any Definitely research the M50 vs. M50 Mark II and decide if you really need the extra features and improvements of the Mark II. The Mark I is a good deal now. If you do lean toward the M50 Mark II, also check out the Canon M6 Mark II. Some say the M6II has the features they wanted in the M50II. The range of native Canon EF-M lenses is limited.
The Canon M50 II offers outside dimensions of 116mm x 88mm x 59mm (4.6" x 3.5" x 2.3") with a weight of 387 grams (0.85 lbs) and the Nikon Z8 has sizing of 144mm x 119mm x 83mm (5.7" x 4.7" x 3.3") having a weight of 910 grams (2.01 lbs). The 1080P video looks good, though. I also can't say I'd ever recommend that II over the original. The upgrades just aren't significant enough to justify the price in my opinion. Don't ever worry about a lens platform being "dead" - especially canon - I'd say they age like fine wine, but in reality, they essentially don't age at all.
