speed limit of trucks in the US is 65mph highway. and sometimes even 70 soo yea. if they want to do it they should do it right. not halfassed. This is Euro Truck Simulator not US Truck Simulator. Europe has a speed limiter on their trucks so the maximum speed is 90kmh. They did it right, this is not need for speed with trucks.

Mod to disable speed limiter in external contracts. External contracts have been around for as long as I can remember, back then there was only California, Nevada, and a little after Arizona and the fastest speed on the roads was 64 at the time so the speed limiter made sense. Ye can't disable the limiter if you're on those sort of jobs, you can only disable the limiter in the settings if you take a job from the freight market and also possibly the quick jobs as well? Not too sure on the quick jobs though.

I just completed a trip from Istanbul in Turkey to Naantali in Finland. Please Dev,s Check the extreme changes in the speed limits. No markers or warnings. The speed limit goes from 90 Km/h to 50km/h back to 80km/h and then back to 70km/h within 100m. Various limits flicker on and off so rapidly that it is impossible to comply. Not to mention how many traffic violations I got for speeding

The game and how the driving physics was made (for trucks), it's simple not made to drive faster than, at top, 100 km/h without having major issues. As been said, this is a trucking game, not a car (or truck-) racing game. Of course, you are free to do whatever you want, WITHIN the hardcoded limit.

2. It take for ever to get form point A to B. 3.It is bug. 4.It no longer feel like a simulator if all I have to do is hold down W and my speed stays the same.(If I do 80MPH around a trun im going to flip and thats my problem.

You can disable this in the truck setting inside gameplay settings, and I think you can also adjust a maximum speed. Personally, I suggest you leave the limiter on because most countries (only exceptions being UK and Romania), have speed limits for trucks of 90 or lower.
Load ETS2 or ATS with the Trucker.MP Client. When in the Sign In Screen Click the Cog in the Top Left Hand Corner. Go into the General Settings Tab and un-tick “Speed Limiter”. Load into the Server or Game and go to Options and Click on Gameplay. Scroll down to Truck Settings.

Euro Truck Simulator 2. Truck speed limiter. I can't drive more than 90 kilometers because the "truck speed limiter" doesn't working. Just stop doing World of Trucks contracts. World of Truck contracts are always limited to 90 kmh/65 mph. you CANNOT turn off that limit.
