This part confuses me. How is the money paid from online bullies worth more than money paid by people who just want to escape real life and enjoy a game? Or is it because Anet likes the free publicity from cheaters streaming as it could result in other cheaters buying the game to join in on the bullying fun.

The farming method of this game is very identical to GW2, but, Gw2 is way more passive, you get a lot of materials while you play and salvage other items. In new world, when you salvage, you only get salvage parts, that are used to repair DMG items and crafting some items.
